ASQMS is a quality management system standard for organizations.

By nature we therefore differentiate:
A) Certification of organizations
B) Certification of persons

A) Certification of organizations

For A), certifications of organizations, the auditors are called 3rd party auditors and are solely qualified by the oversight organizations CACPQSP in China and ASQMS Deutschland GmbH outside China. This is similar to standards like IATF 16949 or ISO 9001.

Initial qualification needs prior to the training courses and the 3rd party auditor exam are strictly controlled by oversight, the trainers and examiners are carefully selected and under constant support and observation of oversight. This guarantees the trust of the industry in this standard.

Prerequisite for all 3rd party auditors is the qualification as 1st/2nd party auditor, the knowledge of the 3 e-books requirements, certification rules and auditor guide. Then an upgrade training (3 days) to 3rd party assistant auditor need to be done and the exam passed. After 2 years of activity, upgrade to full auditor is possible. Until end 2026, in the initial phase of ASQMS, exceptions and shortcuts under oversight supervision are possible.

3rd party auditors are not allowed to consult an organization during a 3rd party, however, in contrast to some overcome regulations in other QMS Standards in some countries, 3rd party ASQMS auditors are encouraged to issue OFIs, opportunities for improvements.

3rd party auditors for ASQMS report to one single certification body, when they do certification audits.

They may act as consultants and trainers, but cannot consult nor train organizations within a cool-off period of 2 years after their last audit of that organization.

B) Certification of persons

For B) certifications of persons, similar to A-SPICE, auditors like 1st and 2nd party auditors are trained and qualified, consultants are trained and licensed, employees are trained, examined and receive certificates etc.

After the initial introduction period of ASQMS, the oversight offices will refrain from trainings and leave this to license partners (exceptions are the 3rd party auditors, see above).

The qualification level of those trainees, however, will be determined by exams. These exams will not be designed nor conducted by the license partners, they will be designed, constantly improved and performed by oversight. Exams for ASQMS are online, with the necessary precautions employed to limit misuse. Certificates will be issued online and can be checked in the oversights websites.

Example 1st and 2nd party ASQMS auditor:

1st party auditor is an internal auditor, who consults and audits his own organization; 2nd party auditor is sent to a supplier and audits this supplier according to ASQMS requirements, but is also encouraged to consult, improve the supplier. He can induce exams, which he initiates and are performed by oversight, including certificates for passed exams or certificates of attendance (for persons, not for organizations). The qualification for a 1st/2nd party auditor is reached by a 4 day training through License Partners (they are required to have a master trainer for it) in an online exam, 60 minutes, open book, where 70% pass rate is required. The cost currently is 450,- Euro; a requirement e-book purchase (75,- Euro) is needed to be admitted.

Example Licensed Consultant:

3 days training (the audit part/module will not be trained) plus exam, pass rate 60%, 60 minutes, open book, online. Personal e-book ASQMS requirements needed.

Training can be done by license partners, 1st/2nd party valid qualification required.

Further trainings and achievement levels are under development by oversight in conjunction with the license partners and are offered from May 2025 onwards

The ASQMS training system is modular and allows a tailormade scoping for each clientele.

Any license partner can use the copyright protected training material and select number of slides by himself. Original slides not changeable, addition of own slides by license partner encouraged.

4) Candidate pays via bank transfer: Exam/certificate fee 450,- Euro plus VAT if applicable and Training fee 1980,- Euro plus VAT if applicable. Training date will be confirmed by email, invitation sent in time as teams invitation. Later on in 2025, candidates can apply via license partners, see website announcements in June 2025.

After acceptance by license partner or oversight (info@asqms.de) you receive an invoice covering the exam/certificate and training time; the e-book purchase is controlled by oversight digitally; failed e-book purchase excludes from training participation; invoices need to be paid prior to start of training; special B2B contracts can apply.
